This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Call For Presentation Proposals

King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) is seeking presentation, workshop and panel discussion proposals to teach practical skills that promote mental health and/or substance use recovery and increase knowledge of recovery and resiliency principles and practices. MOAB Instructor Training

Everett, WA This program is designed for those who are looking to teach communication techniques and de-escalation skills and includes physical training skills (such as restraining, self-defense tactics, minor take-downs). Upon completion, 3-Day Instructors are able to train all of the basic MOAB certification programs. Recertification is every 3 years and costs $595.
