This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Call For Presentation Proposals

June 15, 2018

King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) is seeking presentation, workshop and panel discussion proposals to teach practical skills that promote mental health and/or substance use recovery and increase knowledge of recovery and resiliency principles and practices.

Conference attendees include people in recovery, their family members, students, and service providers participating in publicly funded behavioral health services in King County.

Presentations, workshops, and panel discussions will be scheduled for 1 hour 15 minutes and must include an interactive activity. It is highly recommended that presentation, workshops, and panel discussions be facilitated or co-facilitated by people in recovery and/or family members.
