Completion of the 4-hour in-person course as well as a 4-hour online follow-up allows physicians to prescribe buprenorphine for office-based treatment of opioid use disorder. ARNPs and PA-Cs require an additional 16 hours of training. CME is approved by American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) or American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
