This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Peers in Crisis & Suicide Prevention

Place: Grant County Peers in Crisis & Suicide Prevention is a 2 part workshop that builds on itself. Participants will leave the morning session with an ability to recognize if the peer they are working with is in crisis, what to do about it and how to support the peer and still stay grounded themselves. The afternoon session will be based on the morning session and will provide additional tools for identifying a person at risk of suicide and responding appropriately....
