This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

2016 Standard CPC Training

Standard trainings are offered by DBHR to prepare consumers to become certified peer counselors.  Adults, youth and parents are eligible for these trainings. Parents and youth on WISe teams must take a Youth/Family training. Introduction to Washington’s New Supported Employment Services Medicaid Benefit (Webinar)

This webinar will provide a detailed overview of Washington’s targeted supported employment services Medicaid benefit that is on track to be approved and implemented this year. Training content will include the proposed eligibility criteria and scope of supported employment services covered by the benefit. An introduction to Medicaid payment systems and the steps supported employment providers can take to become licensed in order to be reimbursed for Medicaid supported employment services will be discussed.
