This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

Ending the Silence

NAMI Ending the Silence is a free, 50 minute presentation designed to give students an opportunity to learn about mental illness through an informative Power Point and short videos. Through the presentation, students learn symptoms and indicators of mental illness, and are given ideas about how to help themselves, friends, or family members who may be in need of support. Peer-to-Peer

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a 10-session educational program for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. Taught by a trained team of people who've been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises. Parents & Teachers as Allies

NAMI Parents and Teachers as Allies is a free, two-hour mental health education in-service for school professionals to help them better understand the signs and symptoms of emotional and behavioral difficulties that may be early warning signs of mental illnesses in children and adolescents. Ethical Considerations for the Behavioral Health Professional

Yakima CPC Training

The Yakima peer training is approaching fast and there are still a few openings.  This is a statewide training for all peers, which means peers from out of the area are provided hotel and meals. NAMI In Our Own Voice Presenter Training

MAT for Opioid Use Disorders
