This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

NAMI Family-to-Family

NAMI Family-to-Family is a 12 week education program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidence-based program. Adult and Child First Aid, CPR and AED Certification

Attend this combined 4 hour class and learn First Aid, CPR and AED. Earn a 2- year completion card through ASHI, American Health and Safety Institute. Infant and child CPR are included. Class includes the training guide. Click here for more information.

Anger Management Class

Ending the Silence

NAMI Ending the Silence is a free, 50 minute presentation designed to give students an opportunity to learn about mental illness through an informative Power Point and short videos. Through the presentation, students learn symptoms and indicators of mental illness, and are given ideas about how to help themselves, friends, or family members who may be in need of support. Peer-to-Peer

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a 10-session educational program for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. Taught by a trained team of people who've been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises. Parents & Teachers as Allies
