This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Telehealth for Treatment Providers

This introductory training will provide counselors with foundational knowledge on telehealth technologies. Specifically, participants will learn about telehealth trends, treatment outcome rates, reimbursement, privacy/security issues, ethics, building therapeutic alliances, and license portability. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to practice resolving ethical dilemmas that are typical to using telehealth technologies and view and/or participate in a ‘mock’ videocounseling session. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Co-occurring Disorders Training for Peer Counselors

Clinical Skills in the Era of Legal Cannabis
