This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

Recovery Coach Academy

The Recovery Coach Academy (RCA) is provided by Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) trained trainers. This five day event is a nationally recognized best practice model designed for those interested in becoming actively involved in serving as a Recovery Coach. A Recovery Coach is anyone interested in promoting health and wellness of people with substance use disorders by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery, and serving as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking or already in recovery.
