This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Seminar 1 Training for Peer Counselors

WRAP is an evidenced-based self-help tool that helps peers participate in and guide their own recovery. During the WRAP® Seminar 1 workshop, participants will:
- Gain a good understanding of the Key Concepts of Wellness and Recovery, and explore ways to integrate the philosophy into daily life.
- Understand the components of a WRAP plan, such as a Wellness Toolbox, Daily Maintenance Plan, and more.
- Engage in a facilitated self-exploration process to prepare them for creating their own WRAP plan
