UW EBP Workforce Lecture Series Presents: Promoting First Relationships

November 4, 2016 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

The Evidence Based Practice Institute presents UW EBP Workforce Lecture’s first in-person lecture of the 2016-17 season.

Dr. Susan Spieker and Dr. Monica Oxford (University of Washington’s Family and Child Nursing) will discuss the method of service used for Promoting First Relationships and summarize the outcomes and implications of this work. Our presenters have conducted two randomized control trials of Promoting First Relationships® in child welfare specifically for children aged birth to three. PFR improved parenting sensitivity, enhanced child outcomes, and reduced foster care placements.
