Preparing for Integrated Billing: An Assessment for Behavioral Health Agencies

Toolkit and Webinars to Help you Prepare for Managed Care Billing
– Are you a Behavioral Health Agency (BHA) starting the journey toward Integrated Managed Care and billing managed care organizations?
– Would your organization benefit from an assessment of your capacity to bill MCOs and information to guide you to address gaps?
In the next two months, BHAs in mid-adopter regions will have a unique opportunity to receive assistance assessing billing processes and to provide feedback on toolkit resources through the Healthier Washington Practice Transformation Support Hub (the Hub), in partnership with the Health Care Authority and the Washington State Department of Health.
How Can my Organization Participate in a Self-Assessment?
The Hub will provide a live, 30-minute webinar to walk through the self-assessment toolkit with interested BHAs. The webinar includes tips on how to complete the assessment, create a roadmap for the change process and use the provided tools for a successful transition.
A Toolkit for Best Practice Guidance
The toolkit provides guidance on best practices for assessing current operations in both large and small agencies with varying levels of information systems and billing operation sophistication. The expanded toolkit will be available in December 2018 during an early release period to all who participate in the assessment.
