This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Pierce County – WaHCA Peer Continuing Education Series – Documentation
November 6, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Certified Peer Counselors must document their work, but that documentation must be done in a way that is consistent with their unique role. This workshop helps peer support workers understand requirements of Medicaid and the Washington Administrative Codes, focusing on the type of documentations most often required by CPCs. Expect a simple but thorough method, with lots of practice.
