The August webinar topic is Earnings, Benefits & Work Incentives: Help Support Decisions About Work featuring Rick Kugler from the Institute for Community Inclusion.
While there are many advantages to be gained through employment, fears and misunderstandings about the effect of a paycheck on cash benefits and healthcare frequently undermine a person’s work goal. The fact is, that most beneficiaries can increase their financial wellbeing and improve their quality of life through work. This webinar will introduce the basic principles of “Work Incentives” and demonstrate that earning money and retaining necessary support benefits aren’t mutually exclusive.
