This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We want to create organizations that are inclusive and culturally competent toward all people no matter what their identities or backgrounds. Yet, we know that there are implicit and unconscious biases that gets in the way of our acting in congruence with our beliefs and values. Learn the science of cognitive biases we all have and what we can do to mitigate them.
