Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Homefront Class Teacher
April 30, 2016 - May 1, 2016
NAMI’s Homefront class is a 6-session educational program for families, caregivers and friends of military service members and vets with mental health conditions. Based on the nationally recognized NAMI Family-to-Family program, NAMI Homefront is designed to address the unique needs of family, caregivers and friends of those who have served or are currently serving our country. Prospective teachers must be a family member of an active duty military or veteran, be 18 years of age, and be(come) a NAMI member. NAMI can work inside of VA’s across the country to present this program through an agreement between NAMI and the Veteran’s Administration.
