This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. Ending the Silence Presentation Presenters
April 9, 2016 - April 10, 2016
Ending the Silent (EtS) is an in-school presentation designed to teach middle and high school students about signs and symptoms of mental illness, how to recognize the early warning signs and the importance of acknowledging those warning signs. Presentations are done in a team of two – usually an adult and a young adult living with mental illness age 18-35, and it is recommend that those applying do so as part of a planned team. Participants must be 18 years of age and be(come) a NAMI members.
