$15You probably know First Aid and maybe even CPR – but what if the problem is mental illness? Do you know how to help?
Mental Health First Aid is a program that helps the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Compass Health is offering this fun, highly interactive course that provides an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. It introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments.
This introductory course is not intended for current mental health treatment providers.
