Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. 2021 Homeless Outreach Academy

The Washington State Healthcare Authority and the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery are pleased to announce that registration is open for our 2021 Outreach Academy!
This academy is a one-day training designed to help our regional behavioral health and nonprofit agencies to prepare current and future outreach professionals. These courses will assist the outreach workforce gain the necessary skills and resources to conduct outreach safely and with confidence.
The academy will feature nationally recognized staff from Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) and local subject matter experts presenting on homelessness outreach, engagement, and recovery services. This virtual event will be managed through the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Washington. Certification of Completion will be offered to attendees who complete this course. CEU’s will be offered upon request.
