Training Calendar
This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

Anger Management
June 29, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Attend this in-depth Anger Management course and learn skills that can be used to reduce conflicts with co-workers, family and friends.
In this interactive course, receive instruction and do exercises to understand the roots of anger and develop the skills to successfully deal with anger.
Participants will:
- Gain a better understanding of emotions
- Be able to evaluate your pattern of expressing anger and the underlying emotion, as well as, identify your learned patterns of behavior
- Be able to use at least three of seven skills of de-escalation outside of class
- Be able to identify your triggers and source of your anger
- Outside of class, be able to express both what you need and what you feel
