Training Calendar
This training calendar is designed to be a statewide resource about the latest training opportunities in mental health and substance abuse recovery across Washington State. Most of these trainings are organized by outside organizations, so make sure to scroll down on the page of the training you’re interested in if you have questions or need to contact someone about the training. We invite you to learn about upcoming events and/or request that your training event be added to the calendar!

Today’s Psychiatric Medications
March 29, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Concise, useful, but not too technical, the medication information presented in this workshop will extend your knowledge of psychopharmacology for both adults and children. Joanne Sprunger and Melissa Turner are Compass Health staff members with a wealth of information to share about today’s psychiatric medications, their benefits, side effects, and uses.
The first part of the workshop will be outlining medications, history and research, side effects focusing on adults. The second part will specifically address medications and how they work, the same or differently, when prescribed to children and youth
