SUMMARY:CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP FOR PEER SUPPORT SPECIALISTS
DESCRIPTION:Co-occurring Disorders Training for Peer Counselors is interactive and provides useful tools for Peer Counselors working with people who experience co-occurring disorders – the coexistence of both a mental health and a substance use disorder. It will further define co-occurring disorders\, introduce study results\, the Stages of Change\, relapse prevention\, and cover the SAMHSA perspective.
