SUMMARY:2016 Standard CPC Training
DESCRIPTION:Standard trainings are offered by DBHR to prepare consumers to become certified peer counselors.  Adults\, youth and parents are eligible for these trainings. Parents and youth on WISe teams must take a Youth/Family training. \nPlease send all applications to Jen McDonald\, PO 45330\, Lacey WA 98504 or jenmcdon2@dshs.wa.gov \nRead all of the information on this webpage to understand the application and certification process. If you cannot find the information you need\, please call Jen McDonald at 360-725-1718. \nPlease submit an application even if you did last year—this is a year of transition and we do not want your application to be missed. We’re sorry we will not be able to predict when you will be invited to a training\, but will fill trainings as possible during the year (no calls\, please). \nOnline Course-should be available by April. You can submit an application now for trainings after June\, but you will need to complete the online course for July-Dec trainings before being a confirmed participant. \nBelow are a list of all 2016 State Wide Training: \n\nLaConner Feb 22-26 (Whatcom\, Skagit\, Snohomish\, Island and San Juan counties only)\nVancouver – March 14-18\nYakima – April 11-15\nSpokane – May 2-6 (STATEWIDE—will invite participants from across the state)\nTacoma – June 6-10 (PILOT training for new curriculum and test.  Online course required)\nSeattle/Renton – July 11-15 (New curriculum and test.
