2019 WASHINGTON BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE
June 13-14, 2019

Vancouver, WA

Cultivating Community Solutions

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN – visit wbhc.org!

We invite you to join us at the 30th annual Washington Behavioral Healthcare Conference!

The focus on community could not be more timely as our state considers ambitious proposals to resolve crises and lawsuits surrounding the state hospitals, involuntary treatment capacity and the criminal justice system. As community behavioral health providers and people living with behavioral health challenges, we know that whenever possible, community-based treatment works best, costs less, and supports recovery. When we gather in June, we’ll hear about earlier access to care, consumer voice and choice, and innovative community-based solutions.

We’re excited to announce our 2019 WBHC keynote speakers:

  • Merrill Rotter, MD, an expert on helping providers work with previously incarcerated people with mental illness
  • Jason DeShaw, a national award-winning speaker and singer/songwriter on the importance of hope & human connections
  • Sam Quinones, author of the best-selling Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic
