Are you a mental health professional? Do you live with a mental health condition, or do you have a family member who does? Do you fall into more than one of these categories? Then becoming a presenter for this program may be for you!

This program is designed as a staff development program for front-line professionals who work directly with people with mental health conditions. The course is designed to expand the participants’ compassion for people affected by mental health conditions—those with the condition and their family/caregivers—and to promote a collaborative model of care.

To be eligible to become a presenter you must meet one (1) of three (3) requirements (and you can fall into more than one category!)

  • Be a mental health professional
  • Be living with a mental illness
  • Have a family member who is living with a mental illness

This is a team-based presentation, we encourage complete teams to come to the training together. The ideal team size is 3 trained individuals, but in some circumstances can be a team of 2, as long as those 2 people meet all three required roles (listed above). NAMI Affiliates who already have trained teams are encouraged to send more folks in order to continue building their teams!

The application deadline is Friday, August 30th, so get your applications in soon!
